Kosmos is a custom enterprise software solution for KPMG Deal Advisory consulting services. Its role is to help KPMG analysts and decision makers by optimizing their workflow, facilitating the gathering and aggregation of project data, providing optimized user interfaces and processes for building reports in an collaborative, centralized manner.
In addition to internal project management and review processes, Kosmos will streamline collaboration with external stakeholders by enabling the collection and sharing of data directly with the KPMG customers.
I had the chance to collaborate with KPMG Deal Advisory on an internal customer enterprise software solution.
KPMGs Lead Designer had already started the design system and most of the sections of the platform but due to the increasing complexity of features and the rapid pace of development I was brought in to help out.
I was assigned the Data Explorer Section of the application, where the user was able to build up his or hers table layout and decide which data points could be imported and where. From there, once the whole information was arranged in a logic sense, then it could be compiled and moved over into the presentation module.

The design process was accompanied by rapid-high-fidelity prototyping sessions with the project managers and stakeholders for feedback and tweaks.
