Minimum Viable Product for Commodities & Crypto Trading Mobile Application
With the popularity of crypto, DSTOQ have identified a user pain point when owners want to trade cryptocurrency for other assets. High fees & centralized processes prohibit a timely and secure peer-to-peer exchange. With their tokenized process based on blockchain technology, DSTOQ are building a security exchange, allowing users to directly trade cryptocurrencies as well as real-world assets using the DSQ token
DSTOQ was in need of a mobile design system that could help them build a complete functional and presentable minimum viable product to grow and reach their investment goals and to be able to build upon it afterwards towards a complete product.
The client had a minimal brand assets package and a styled wireframe flow to start with but also a very small timeframe in which I could iterate and validate ideas.
At first I did an inventory of all existing identity assets and expanded on those to help design and build a more consistent and fluid experience in the application.
The whole process required multiple knowledge points, from Github versioning to branding, iconography and illustration skills, on top of which rapid prototyping was done to test out with the client visual ideas but also corrections to the initial userflow.
Having a multidisciplinary experience helped me deliver the project in just one week, working in a fast paced system and also remote.
Alex is an extremely talented and diligent graphic designer. He was quick to assist with any type of assets we needed, whether it were flyer designs for marketing, educational one-pagers for b2b clients or i.Os app designs.
